What’s been happening:

Sam has been involved in communication and marketing since earning his BS in Speech Com in '79. At a time when TV was exclusive to networks, local stations and ad agencies Sam forged a career as an independent using video to present complex messages in a palatable and interesting manner. Freelancing in financial services marketing, Sam created "video prospectuses" for most of the major brokerages and insurance companies on products ranging from RE investment trusts to thoroughbred racehorse syndicates. Major image projects for The N.Y. Times, AT&T, and Sony allowed Sam to define a personal directing and editorial style that told densely-woven stories using real people. A long standing gig for Fidelity Investments, led Prudential to try Sam's particular documentary style for their national ads. That success brought Sam "inside" as V.P. of Broadcast Services where he built and ran a production facility and directed and edited nearly 300 national spots in 8 years. Sam's storytelling contributed greatly to the success of Prudential's public offering. in '02. In '05 Sam moved his company Small Wonder Video Services from Manhattan to Maui. After commissioning a bamboo house from Bamboo Technologies Sam joined in and is lending his extensive marketing and communications skills to the growing company. Other current production clients include Spiritual teacher Ram Dass.
